Totally agree with you Aikoaiko, and got into it for the same reason (Shinsengumi). I haven't finished watching the second season, but so far its good. I would love to make a of Hijikata from the second season. RedFox1 Anyway its based on an Otome game and I just wish I could play it. Crying If anyone is interested they should check it out.

This is great anime. the main character Chizuru-chan is my favorite, but i like the Shinsengumi a lot too. Hijikata is cool, Ilike his voice actor a lot, Heisuke is funny charakter, his interaction with Shinpachi always make me smile. Kondo-san is somewhat cute, Saito is man of few words. They are all really interesting characters and the plot is really good too, that´s why I think this anime is great.

i've watched this anime for 3 times (season 1) love
and still love it RedFox1

i haven't watched season 2 till now because of
my exams grrr

but i downloaded all its episodes and will watch
them very soon shine

by the way i love all hakuouki guys XD
very hot GuuuYYs eyebrows
and i love when they become oni and their hair
become grey giggle

Dont anyone think this story is a bit too sad..I mean the ending..
I wish to see a different ending for the second season but i guess i can't change history..
But the shinsengumi guys are extremely hot..
That is definitely the plus point for this anime..
Does anyone know where I can download the manga? I've been searching for it..

I watched it and It is indeed awesome anime love and I think the first season is better then 2-nd season.

Hakouki didn't really get high ratings, but I personally like the anime because of the bishies. I like the anime because of the game and also it's historical which is one of my favourite genres.

I almost cried at the end of the series since
In part, I didn't want to see the second series because I knew that was gonna happen. But I loved the series.

I really loved this series! both the 1st and 2nd! The animators did such a beautiful job on this show. It made me completely fall in love with Hijikata Toshizo. ali_105
